A 18th C Scarificator by Nico La Buccardo, Anno 1764. The instrument was used for bloodletting in the 18th C. The scarificator is in working order and there are 13 original blades ( in good condition), with 13 slide openings. The scarificator comes with a chamois leather case. About the date of the cover, I’m not sure if it have the same date than the scarificator.
