Béniqué bougies by Dubois, circa 1870-1880

A cased set of a Benique bougies by Dubois of circa 1870 – 1880. Including twenty bougies in varying sizes from 26 to 44. Benique bougies where used to apply traction to the prostate. The case is made of oak and covered with red velvet on the inner side, it is signed Dubois 31 rue st André des Arts. This set was once owned by ‘Dr. Daude’
