Culpeper type microscope.
This unsigned, but probable dutch, 18thc. Culpeper-type microscope has two sets of brass tripod that support the brass stage and the body-tube. The swinging mirror is attached to the wooden base. In the bottom of the wooden case is a drawer for the accessoires, unfortunately not complete. But this 18th century mahogany pillar case is original and in a very good condition, c. 50cm high.
