A French 2-inch reflecting telescope 18th century by Claude SimonPassement (1702-1769) on the original stand. Signed; Passemant Rue de La Monnoye A La Pomme D’or A Paris. Circa 1740. Body is covered with brown leather and the mirrors are ingood condition. Diameter tube 5,8 cm with a length of 44 cm and 39 cm high.
