Verdin phonendoscope, c 1900
A phonendoscope by bazzi & bianchi patented in 1894 and distributed in france by charles verdin a paris.
The stethoscope is almost complete with the second diaphragm with intercostal attachment, tubing, glass earpieces and original container. One metal connection tube is missing. The attachment was designed to be placed in the intercostal space so as to facilitate transmission of breath and heart sounds. Case dimension 12,5 x 9 x 4,5 cm
