Brass dividers with ball-joint c 1710
A very early pair of compasses -dividers made of brass, c. 1710. C. 14,9 cm long .To inside of both divider legs there is a division created in inch’s. A divider leg has a steel point and the other divider leg has a removable pencil holder. This removable pencil holder has also hinge point. The legs are connected by means of a ball-joint. Fine workmanship and in excellent condition, 23,5 cm long.
