Gaertner’s Tonometer or Sphygmomanometer
An Prof. Dr. G. Gaertner’s “Tonometer”(Sphygmomanometer), approximately. 1910. Made by Franz Hugershoff, Leipzig. The case is marked D.R.G.M – Deutsches Reichsgebrauchsmuster = registered design of the German Reich. This instrument was used to measure blood pressure. Measurements box 20 x 11,5 x 6 cm.
