Trepanning set, W. Smith, c1825
A beautiful trepanning set by w. Smith, circa 1825. This set was owned by dr. Marston buszard. He was a chirurgein near lutterworth, early 19th century. This coffin belongs with two different set, surgery and bloodletting to buszard collection. This set consists of brass and steel instruments with ivory handles, signed by w. Smith. Case dimensions 20 x 9 x 4 cm.
