George Cowie catheter set in Mayer & Meltzer case, 1840’s

Three Victorian silver catheters by George Cowie of London of 1844, 1846 and 1848. The male catheters with proximal curve and stilets are numbered on their stilet heads 11, 12 and 13 and are approximately 31cm. long and weigh 23g, 27g & 32g. The catheter set is contained in an unassociated red leatherette, plush-lined curved case with trade label for Mayer & Meltzer Makers C^T Portland S^T
