19th century Hey’s Skull saw by Evans

Hey’s skull saw by Evans of the late 19th century. Double bladed serrated saw made of steel with studded, octagonal, lignum vitae handle. Stamped by Evans on the stem.
Provenance: Sotheby’s on 15th August, 1988. Originally, this saw was the property of John Jones, a surgeon of Fortescue Lodge, Ilfracombe, who died in January 1866.
