Schwob urethrotome for treating urethral strictures in particular of c. 1880. The instrument is inscribed with “VM-1887-34” on the guilloche ebony handle and with Schwob on the metal stem. The Wellcome collection holds some instruments of Schow of Germany of the period 1880-1920.
