This sovereign scale was made in england in the early 19th century, it is still in its original leather-covered, two piece box with an indistinct printed label that say’s ‘ to weight and gauge sovereigns & half sovereigns, warranted, weights so correct that couterfacts are instantly detected’. The instrument is in mint condition.
