An early 20th century miniature globe is titled: ‘Sphere Terrestre’. Published at Paris by L.N. et K. Editeurs published with all names printed in French. Consisting of 12 paper gores and 2 polar-caps, mounted on a black wooden stand, measuring 16 cm. in total, the globe with a diameter of 8 cm.
The initials stand for the founders, Léon Nicolas and Charles Keller. Around 1900–1908, Belgian Congo is often referred to as the ‘État Indépendant du Congo’ on this globe.
