The Ranunclus Acris was made by Robert Brendel in Germany, second half of the 19th century, polychrome papier mache on turned ebonist base with the printed blue maker’s label. the Label gives the following text: N0 57 – Ranunculus – Acris L – XVII, 3. flos – Upright Crowfoot Flower – Hahnenfuss Blüte – Ranuncolo maledetto. fiore – Renoncule Fleur – Ranunculaceae – Vergr 8 fach.
